Insulated busbars

Emcomp’s insulated busbars are especially designed for usage together with CBI Q-range MCBs. Due to the smaller modular width of the Q-range (13 mm) we of course also need to support with busbar systems with the same pitch. The busbars are available in various configurations for 1-3 phases, with or without auxiliary switches. Emcomp’s Busbars for Q-range are available in both straight and 90degree angled versions, with pin as well as fork connection. Usage of Emcomp’s Busbars saves time during assembly as well as gives more even distribution of the current which increase safety as the risk for imbalanced loads in the system decreases.

Emcomp’s insulated busbars are available both on meter length where the customer can cut and add end caps themselves or as ready made with the desired length, complete with insulated end caps.  

 

The fork style busbar is particularly of interest in many case since that allows for easy termination of feeding cable. The busbar is fitted under the screw head on the MCBs and the feeding cable in the box terminal. Then the busbar feeds the rest of the MCBs connected.
